Mare Quimby won with a good deal in hand on debut in the concluding mares' bumper at Punchestown.
The Presenting filly tanked along just off the pace before striding into the lead a furlong and a half from home.
Finny Maguire didn't have to ask her many questions as she ran on to score by two and a half lengths at 13/2. Phillapa Sue the well backed 9/4 favourite finished the second, the same distance in front of 80/1 outsider Delightfantastic
The winner brought up a double for Noel Meade who said: “I think we’ll try another bumper with her if the owners agree.
“She’s bred by Ken Parkhill and his son has the syndicate. The Listed mares’ bumper in Navan could be a likely target for her.
“She’s been working well and was showing us plenty in the spring. You would have to like the way she won that as she was awful green.”
Meade also struck on the card with Sixshooter
