Ifiwerearichman made all for a decisive victory in the Connolly's Red Mills Irish EBF Auction Maiden Hurdle at Down Royal.

The four-year-old gelding enjoyed himself over the 2m1f trip and powered clear on the run-in for trainer Paul Nolan and the Capital Racing Syndicate.

He won by nine and a half lengths at 10/1 from 4/1 runner-up Mollys Glory

Jockey James O'Sullivan said: "I got a grand easy lead in front and was able to fill him up everywhere.

"He's unbelievable at jumping hurdles and I was able to keep taking him back everywhere.

"He got in a little bit close to the second last but he went down and winged the last.

"The ground the last day in Clonmel was probably a little bit soft for him and just got caught there going down to the last.

"If it isn't bad ground at all, he'd have a right squeak."
