The Betdaq.com Hurdle caused a surprise when 16/1 shot Holy Road under Eddie Power over turned the 2/7 favourite Lucky Wish from the Eoin Griffin stable.
Winning trainer Andrew Slattery said afterwards: “He was off the track for three years after broke down his two front legs.”
“He came back with two good runs, he got taken on in front the last day and couldn’t relax. Hopefully the handicapper won’t be too hard on us after that.”
