Hoban works magic on Baby Conor Hoban produced Leaves You Baby with a well-timed run to claim the concluding maiden at Roscommon. The winner had some decent place form on the all-weather at Dundalk but had shown little back on turf recently. The 12/1 shot put her best foot forward today, however, hitting the front at the furlong marker and going on to score by a length-and-a-quarter from Rodriguez. Hotpot Mundher (8/13f) failed to pick up back in third. "She was very consistent at the back end of last year and was unlucky a few times at Dundalk," said trainer Michael Halford. "It was my fault that I brought her to Clonmel and she didn't handle the track. She was back on a level track today. "We stuck Conor on to claim the 7lb and it's important to get her winning bracket. She'll go handicapping now."
