Hennessy and Buddy strike again Paul Hennessy continued his dream start to racehorse training when Cheers Buddy completed a quick double in the mile handicap at Gowran Park. Hennessy, better known as a top-class greyhound handler, only had his first runners on Friday night when the same horse collected at Dundalk. He repeated the dose today, emerging just the right side of a final furlong duel with Golden Starlet. The stewards had a look after the pair came close in the closing stages but the result stood. "I've had one stewards enquiry already today as I forgot to declare the penalty for winning on Friday!" joked Hennessy afterwards. "I've got the English (Greyhound) Derby in a fortnight's time so he might get a little break now. "To win two is great and we're still not over the win on Friday night. Seamie has been riding him work and advising me so I'm delighted he got a turn on him." It was a double on the card for Heffernan, who had also claimed the opening juvenile maiden for Ballydoyle on Raphael Santi.
