Harrington's I'm So Fancy wins Group 3 Snow Fairy Stakes Alpha Centauri's stablemate I'm So Fancy gained further Group glory for her trainer Jessica Harrington at the Curragh today, as the latter named four year old landed a third course win and a career highlight, in the Group 3 Snow Fairy (Fillies) Stakes. Ridden by regular rider Colm O'Donoghue, the daughter of Rajj quickened well to lead inside the final furlong and in the end passed the line half a length in front over British challenger Desert Diamond. Kate Harrington, representing her mother Jessica Harrington, later said “she's so tough and that's her third win at the Curragh now. She's won two Listed races, been placed in a Group 2 and has now won a Group 3. “She was a bit unlucky in France as she had to make her own running and got swallowed up in the last 100 yards. She'll be back here for the Blandford on Champions Weekend.” The win was a huge boost for largely unheralded and unraced stallion Rajj who, from a paltry ten flat runners, has now produced today's winner, 107 rated Insayshable, winner My Mystique and juvenile filly My Laureate, which was second on her only start this year. Regarding Rajj, Harrington added “it's a testament to Homer Scott's Rajj and her full-sister (Fancy Feat) ran a lovely race in Roscommon two weeks ago so she's one to look forward too as well.” Quotes from Gary Carson
