Michael Halford completed a treble at Dundalk this evening when Senyuman became the trainer's third narrow margin winner of the fixture, in the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Handicap.
Senyuman was partnered by Halford's stable apprentice jockey Conor Hoban who was himself completing a double on the card and the trainer later stated “I'm thrilled for Conor as he is a great part of the team and works hard. When Shane (Foley, stable jockey) is out, he is great help to have; this filly settled very well for him and his 3lbs claim made a big difference as she only won a head.
“We'll keep going with her and she's very tough and genuine.”
Halford's earlier winners were neck winner Victor's Beach under Shane Kelly, and the Hoban partnered Settle For Red which won his heat by a half length.
