Grey Swallow in flying form

Dermot Weld reports Grey Swallow in good shape for the upcoming Flat campaign, with the Tattersalls Gold Cup a likely early season target.

Weld, speaking this morning on Attheraces, said the Budweiser Irish Derby winner had ´wintered well and strengthened´.

´We have been unable to do much with him in the last few weeks because of the weather. He could start off in the Group 3 Mooresbridge Stakes at the Curragh (May 2), and then go for the Tattersalls Gold Cup.´

The Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup is part of the Irish 1,000 Guineas card at the Curragh on May 22.
