The Noel Dooly trained Rockview Emperor caused a 16/1 upset to win the Racings Best Offer #19 Silver Package Handicap at Gowran today, winning under Seamie Heffernan.
The son of Holy Roman Emperor was produced with his challenge on the outer in the home straight eventually getting to the front over a furlong out for a length and three parts win over Elusive Gent
Afterwards Dooly revealed "one of the owners, Tom Rain, had a mad idea and bought him off Done Deal (classifieds website)! He got the other lads (Another Plan Partnership) into it with him then.
"I don't know a lot about him (Rockview Emperor), I've only had him two months but Seamie said he's a bit of a character and said he was starting to be a bit funny on the way to the start. He thought he might boil over but when the race started he was okay.
