The weather today is to be dry, although some patchy rain or drizzle is forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Dundalk host’s its regular all-weather Flat fixture tomorrow evening, while there is some top class jumping action over the weekend. Gowran’s “Red Mills” day is on Saturday where the going is currently yielding to soft (soft in places). There are three Grade 2 events at Navan on Sunday including the Boyne Hurdle, and the ground at the Co. Meath venue is yielding to soft (yielding in places). There will be fresh ground on both tracks at Navan. Looking further ahead, the ground is currently soft at Punchestown where racing takes place next Wednesday, while the following day the action moves on to Thurles where the going is described as soft to heavy.
