Going update

A busy weekend kicks off tomorrow with racing at Punchestown and Tramore. The Co. Kildare track is currently heavy, while Tramore is reported this morning as soft.

Racing also takes place at Tramore on Sunday (New Year's Day) when there will be fresh ground available, and the seaside course starts celebrations to mark their centenary year.

Fairyhouse also stages a meeting on Sunday with the going described as soft.

The weather forecast is predicted to remain unsettled with showers, some of which will be heavy.
