Galway Plate plan for Bellewstown flat winner Final Orders (5/4f) warmed up for next month's Galway Plate with a first win on the flat today, landing Bellewstown's Prizm Handicap (div I) for the C M D Syndicate, jockey Conor Maxwell and trainer Gavin Cromwell. The ex-Michael Tabor-owned Camelot-gelding won five consecutive chases last season, achieving a rating of 150, and finished fifth in Cheltenham's Grand Annual. Today he returned from an 84-day break to score by two and a half lengths from Glyde Ranger. Cromwell said "I thought he could be vulnerable over the 1m4f but Conor was good on him. "He'll go to Galway for the Plate. It is a little bit of a step up in trip from what he has been running over, but Galway should suit and he jumps well. It remains to be seen how well handicapped he is, but it is horses for courses and the track should suit him." "It is about Galway at the moment, but winnings races on the flat is in the back of our heads." Quotes from Michael Graham
