Gaelic scores for Grant Scots Gaelic bounced back to form when claiming the Tadgh Clifford Groundcare Handicap at Killarney. Pat Flynn's gelding could only finish a moderate fourth over 1m6f at Ballinrobe last time and the drop in trip by three furlongs seemed to suit better today. Danny Grant produced the 14/1 shot with a strong run to lead inside the final furlong and he went on to beat Magical Cat by half a length. The winning trainer was not on hand to welcome back in his charge.
