Four for Mullins as Make impresses in bumper The final race on the card at Punchestown this afternoon, the Dick Grainger Memorial Bumper, went to Make A Track providing his trainer Willie Mullins with his fourth winner of the afternoon and his twelfth since Wednesday. Having won on his debut in a point-to-point at Lisronagh in April for his then trainer Ger Hourigan, the son of Beneficial followed up this afternoon winning impressively on his racecourse debut with Patrick Mullins aboard. Newcomer Sizing Gold (4/1) for Henry De Bromhead attempted to make all but the winner, who was an easy-to-back 13/8 favourite, moved alongside two furlongs out and soon asserted to score by eleven lengths. Sizing Gold plugged on to take second while Our Vinnie at 10/3 stayed on well to take third for Charles Byrnes a further half a length behind. Having scored with Last Instalment and Dedigout earlier on the card, Make A Track made it a treble on the afternoon for his owners Gigginstown House Stud. Willie Mullins said afterwards: "He is a real professional racehorse. He doesn’t do anything too exciting at home. I’d say he is an out-and-out stayer and he will probably go straight over hurdles now."
