Shane 'Dusty' Foley continued his recent good run when he landed the Mount Hillary Handicap aboard the Michael Halford trained Atlas Peak in the colours of the Rathcoffey Racing Syndicate.
Winning trainer Halford said afterwards: “He deserved that, he’s being running consistently all year without a win.”
“Shane gave him good ride, they went very fast early on and it took nerve to sit where he did as he was 2nd last coming into the straight.”
“We will keep him going now and probably stick to handicaps over a mile for him.”
