Finish earns break with handicap success For A Finish is set for a few weeks off after a convincing success in the handicap chase at Thurles. Alain Cawley's mount leapt to the front three out in the three-mile event and looked in control from there. The Beat All gelding, making his first start in handicap company over fences, kept on well in the closing stages to post a four-and-a-half length verdict over Qualviro. "He needs three miles and is probably better over fences as he jumps well," said winning trainer Eoin Doyle afterwards. "He's had four runs quickly and will have a little break before coming back in December, maybe just before Christmas. "We'll see what the handicapper does but he could go for another staying handicap chase. "He's also rated around 100 over hurdles so could go back hurdling and we'll mix it with him."
