Today's meeting at Fairyhouse has been cancelled as the track was found to be unfit for racing due to waterlogging following a further 10mm of rain overnight.

This meeting, featuring the Group 3 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Stakes, was originally due to take place last Wednesday but that also fell victim to the recent wet spell.

Racing takes place at Roscommon this evening where a seven race jumps meeting gets underway at 5.55pm.

The railing has been moved in eight yards all around the track to provide fresh ground, and the going is described this morning as soft to heavy.

Meanwhile racing takes place tomorrow at Wexford where the going is currently yielding (yielding to soft in places) and at Naas (heavy).

The weather outlook is for further showery rain later today, with sunshine and showers tomorrow.
