Erysimum never headed in Killarney Erysimum made all under Billy Lee at Killarney to continue Willie McCreery's good run. McCreery's charge was competing in the median auction fillies race for three-year-olds over a mile and broke smartly to take the field along. She travelled best two and a half furlongs from home as her rivals all came off the bridle. She was ridden was a furlong to go and closed out the race by a length and three quarter at odds of 9/4. Gilded Reflection, the 11/10 favourite, couldn't get on terms and had to settle for second place in this seven-runner race. Willie McCreery said: "She did it well and Billy gave her a good enterprising ride and used her experience. He slowed it up and then kicked off the turn. "She's a big, improving filly and by the end of the year I hope to step her into Listed company. "I still think she was harshly treated for her Sligo win and I was hoping that there was a handicap for her but conditions suited her today. "Billy said a mile is far enough for her."
