Andalucia Lady overcame a disappointing run at Dundalk recently to win the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice at Naas today under Mark Enright.
Enright, 19 from Newcastle West, was partnering his fourth racecourse winner.
Afterwards Wille McCreevy stated “she ran no kind of race at Dundalk the last day but Mark was very good on her and she needed a strong ride – being an elderly mare!”
“She is ‘in’ again tomorrow over hurdles at Gowran but is unlikely to run as it would be unfair on her to run again after winning today.”
