Dundalk has the power

A power failure around Dundalk Stadium earlier this evening, which had briefly threatened the Friday evening racing action going ahead, has been sorted and the floodlights are now working.

The power was cut for about half-an-hour before returning at approximately 4.45pm and the floodlights, which take at least 30 minutes to fully warm up, are now on.

The first of an eight race card gets underway at 6.00pm.
