Deal Done got off the mark over fences in good style in the beginners chase at Navan.
Paddy Flood sent his mount to the front at the third last and he never looked in danger after. Taravada chased in vain but never looked liked pegging him back, going down by 11-lengths to the easy winner.
"He had two runs that were very good behind Nicanor and Shakervilz and got brought down in between," said winning trainer Dessie Hughes.
"He's a nice horse and hopefully he'll do something at Fairyhouse and Punchestown. We'll enter him for the Powers Gold Cup - it looks a smart race this year."
