Hidden Cyclone looked a name to follow when running out a game winner of the concluding bumper at Gowran.
The 'Shark' Hanlon-trained gelding was prominent with the free-going King Lir before taking it up before the straight.
Brian Hayes' mount kept on well when challenged by Kid Curry over a furlong from home and went on to score by a length-and-three-quarters. Ravensbury finished well to take second.
Hanlon was delighted with the result after being forced to retire Western Leader, who suffered serious injury at Aintree last week.
"He's a good horse. I know I lost a good horse but I said on the night at least I have the next best one in the yard," said Hanlon.
"We'll give him a bit of time off and bring him back for a winners race in Galway. It's great after losing the other one to have a nice horse."
