Condon comes in for winning spare on Pint Davy Condon benefited from the absence through in jury of Paul Carberry at Fairyhouse today, standing in for the 'spare' on the Gordon Elliott trained Time For A Pint, winner of the opening Summer Racing At Fairyhouse Maiden Hurdle. The winner moved between horses to lead before the final flight and stayed on well for a two and a quarter lengths win over She's A Leader. Regarding the dual bumper winner, Elliott later stated “he's a grand big old staying horse, jumps well and will get a break for six weeks now. “He will stay jumping hurdles this year but wouldn't want it as quick as that and hopefully is ok in the morning.” By Thomas Weekes, quotes from Gary Carson.
