Clued in Danube wins at Dundalk again It's coming up on the second anniversary of Brian Bunyan's win in the charity race at Cheltenham, but as an owner he's enjoyed many memorable evenings at Dundalk, and his Grey Danube gained victory number six on the polytrack tonight. Tuam, County Galway rider, Leigh Roche, has been aboard for five of those wins, and on this occasion he got the 13/2 chance home by half a length from Have A Nice Day. This was Grey Danube's first success over seven furlongs. "He's a great horse to have around. He's won now over five, six, and seven furlongs," explained Brian's brother, winning trainer Darren. "He seems more clued in this year and he could go to Kempton now, next month, for a seven furlong Listed race. "There's also the option though, of coming back here for a conditions race. "He won't run on turf as he's never clicked on it." (AM & EM)
