Tony Martin was in the winner's enclosure this afternoon when landing The J.W.J Porter & Co Beginners Chase with Drumconvis owned by William Moffet and ridden by Paul Carberry making it a double on the day for the jockey.
Winning trainer Martin remarked, "That was a great performance I'm delighted for the owners who only live 5 miles down the road. We've no set plans at the moment we'll see what comes up for him in the next month or so and go from there and I don't think he'd have a problem if we stepped him up in trip."
Paddy Flood was stood down for the day following a heavy fall from Tom Taaffe's Shindig
