Kilbarry Calling took full advantage after the exit of hotpot Moyhenna in the opener at Thurles this afternoon.
The 1/3 favourite took them along in the two-mile-two mares beginners chase and looked to have her rivals on the stretch going to the third last.
A blunder there saw her unship Denis Hogan, however, and Kilbarry Calling inherited the lead.
The Con O'Keeffe-trained mare went left a bit at the final two fences but always looked in control in the closing stages and eased down close home, under Davy Russell, to score by three-parts-of-a-length from A Girl Like Me
3/1 winner Kilbarry Calling was turning out again quickly having chased home Roxboro Road at Leopardstown on Monday.
"He gave her a wonderful ride and when Denis fell, it was his misfortune but our good luck,” said O'Keeffe.
"He said that when she got to the front she was very lairy and would have been better with company. It is great to get a win with her and her sister won for us as well.
"She is a huge mare and if anyone wants to buy her all the better."
