Cailean's Angel powered clear on the run-in to record a cosy success in the first division of the three-mile handicap hurdle at Tipperary.

There were four in a line jumping the second last but it was the Gavin Cromwell-trained mare who travelled best.

Jonathan Moore sent the 18/1 shot to the front before the final flight and daughter of Getaway galloped on strongly to the line to record a seven-and-a-half length win over Definiteadare

The winner had been off the track for over six months and was making her first start for Cromwell this afternoon.

Moore said:- "She is only small and all her bits of form were on better ground so we said we'd take our time today and see how she goes in it.

“It was a bit of a fact-finding mission but luckily she has gone and done the business.

"She travelled the winner all the way and was good and honest to the line for me.

“Staying is her forte and she seems to stay all day and hopefully there will be more fun to be had with her during the summer."
