Burke picks up four day ban The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Bill Fleming, regarding the failure of Julie Burke, rider of Faynita, placed third to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and also from Michael Halford master to the apprentice. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Faynita and suspended the rider for four race days and ordered that the riding fee be forfeited.
