Bolger gets tune out of Stamp Your Feet Stamp Your Feet (13/2) made a winning debut for Enda Bolger in the Larry O'Farrelly Memorial Handicap Chase. He won three handicap hurdles and a bumper in Britain for Tom George, and took advantage of a mark of 111 in this extended two mile contest. Mark Walsh rode a patient race on the eight-year-old gelding who still had plenty to do in fourth after the penultimate fence. He moved into third at the last and motored home strongly on the run-in to catch the battling pair of Roachdale House (12/1) and Friary Gold (6/5f) who had to settle for second and third respectively. The winning distance was recorded as a length and a half. Mark Walsh said: “He's done it well. They went a right good gallop and it probably played to my lad's strengths as he stayed on well. “I rode him once before for Tom George and that's my first time to ride him in a few years. “Enda has got a tune out of him again and a change of scenery can often do that. Hopefully he can keep going.” The Stewards interviewed L.P. Dempsey, rider of Roachdale House, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that L.P. Dempsey was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), excessive frequency. Having considered his record in this regard the Stewards suspended L.P. Dempsey for two race days.
