The Jessie Harrington trained Black Coffee (13/2) ran out a 3 length win of The www.punchestown.com Maiden Hurdle under Robert Power in the familiar colours of Howard Spooner.
Harrington's daughter Emma commented afterwards, "That was a bit of a surprise, it was a big improvement from his last run. The owner Mr Spooner will be delighted with that win. Robert said that he jumped really well and he'd appreciate better ground. We will keep on the go now."
