Banimpire heading Stateside

Banimpire made the headlines at Goffs this afternoon when purchased for €2.3 million by Oceanic Bloodstock and will continue her racing career in the United States.

The Holy Roman Emperor filly scored seven times for Jim Bolger, notably at Group 2 level in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot and also the Keeneland Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh.

She was also denied by the minimum margin when headed virtually on the line by Blue Bunting in the Darley Irish Oaks.

Out of the dual Listed winner My Renee and from the family of Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winners Detroit and Carnegie, she raced in the colours of Bolger's wife Jackie.
