Attribution takes well to hurdling Henry de Bromhead's Attribution put his rivals to the sword when romping clear in Wexford's two mile maiden hurdle. The 8/11 favourite travelled best after the third last. Bryan Cooper kicked him clear on the bend before two out and the five-year-old quickly put the race away. He was clear jumping that obstacle and cruised home by four and a half lengths. Punters had been keen on him in morning trading backing him down from 11/8 on this his hurdling debut. He had been runner-up in two previous bumpers at Navan and Kilbeggan. There was plenty of merit in the Navan performance as that was a Listed race in which he finished second to Bordini. Dylrow (4/1) and Our Brian (25/1) completed the placings today in second and third respectively. Bryan Cooper said: "He is a grand horse and loves jumping. He probably wants a bit further in time but he did it well and he will step up. He jumps great. "He had a look at the stands turning in but once he saw the hurdle he got his mind back on the job.
