Almass Navigates a safe course at Cork Kevin Prendergast's Almass gained a valuable Listed win in the featured Navigation Stakes at Cork today. Previously successful four times, the daughter of Elnadim tracked the leaders before progressing to lead over a furlong out, soon quickening clear for an easy four and a half length win. Prendergast was absent but winning jockey Declan McDonogh reported "Almass quickened really well and, although she is only small, covers a lot of ground. She has a big heart and is an honest filly."
