Tommy Carmody's presence at Wexford for All That Rules in the Clonard Maiden was a tip in itself as the Curragh handler also has fancied runners 'up North.' Things worked out nicely for those that took the hint and followed the money on the well-backed 2/1 favourite.
He launched his challenge around the outer under Ben Curtis and he ultimately stayed on in the style of one to follow to eclipse Hail by a length and three parts.
Carmody said of the Andrew Tinkler-owned Galileo colt, third on his debut in Ireland 15 days back: "He's progressed since I got him.
"He has his handicap mark and he'll go for a handicap next. Hopefully he'll keep improving.
"He carried Ben well there and he quickened well when asked to." (DM & EM)
