McDonogh and the successful five-year-old daughter of Tagula were travelling all over their rivals from two furlongs out and once sent about her business she lengthened away to score easily from Melodie D'Amour. Pat Tallis owns and trains Acushladear in County Kilkenny and he said: "We've got the distance right with her and that's a big thing. She's definitely improving and Declan gave her a grand ride. "She was better tonight and maybe she was a bit ring-rusty last time. "We think she could be even better over a mile and a half.
