127/1 Naas 4-timer for Ballydoyle Ryan Moore rode his third winner at Naas when Aidan O’Brien made it four with Ferretti (7/2 into 100/30) in the Royal Ascot Trials At Naas Handicap. Ferretti supplemented earlier O’Brien gains with Pistoletto (Moore), Etoile (Seamie Heffernan) and So Perfect (Moore), by half a length. Colin Keane switched to the outer to deliver his challenge on runner-up and gambled-on market leader Giga White (11/4 into 7/4) from over two furlongs out. Giga White’s stable companion Kafu had put the pace to the race in a clear leader role. He faded into fifth eventually. Giga White meanwhile finished encouragingly without getting to Ferreti. “Fast ground and seven furlongs to a mile suits him. He’ll probably move up to a Stakes race. He has a role at home working with Ten Sovereigns," reflected O'Brien. (AM & EM)
