"She's gold dust" - Kilashee makes all in Roscommon finale Turned out again quickly, Kilashee bounced back to form, as she ran her rivals ragged from the front in the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Chase. Pulled up at Listowel on Friday, the John Ryan-trained nine-year-old was sent off a 16/1 chance today. Sent straight to the front by Daniel King, the now seven-time winner jumped well throughout and while briefly pressed from three out, she went on again when ridden after the next, eventually coming home four lengths to the good in the colours of the Bitview Partnership. The John McConnell-trained Bella Bliss (4/1) filled the runner-up spot, while 9/4 favourite Kudasheva was another three quarters of a length away in third. There was long intervals back to the remainder, with just six of the 10 starters managing to complete. "She's some little mare, she's gold dust," Ryan enthused. "I put on a cross noseband the other day and I'd say it was on a little bit tight. She resented it and didn't want to race, she was shaking her head. "She didn't even want to start and she loves racing. I'm delighted for her. "She's a real favourite with the public, she's won seven now. We'll find something similar again for her." STEWARDS REPORTS * The Raceday Stewards granted permission for the cross noseband on Kudasheva, trained by Henry de Bromhead, to be removed at the start as the animal resented its application. . * The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Emily In Paris, trained by D.E.Fitzgerald, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. * D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Kudasheva, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the first. * The Raceday Stewards requested a report from John Patrick Ryan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Kilashee, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge ran on this occasion without a cross noseband, which helped his charge settle and he felt this may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report. * B.W. Harvey, rider of Menindee, trained by D.M. Christie, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled. Additional reporting by Gary Carson
