After race at Navan Sat, 10th Dec, 2011 (1st)

he ran well at Clonmel the last day and I knew he was right today. Eventhough he is 11, he is still a fresh little horse and he'll go for the Woodies Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown over Christmas. He is a stone higher in England so there's no point going over there and he may go back over fences later in the season. He didn't find the ground too bad there - out wide its not too bad.

He got bumped at the first fence and he was shuffled back a bit but Davy [Russell] was always happy and knew he'd loads of horse underneath him. He'll have a little break now and come back for the Galway Plate.

We'll aim for the Galmoy Hurdle at Navan next. He'll probably go back for the Word Hurdle at Cheltenham he may as well have another go at it. He's been a bit unlucky and he needs to come with a run. Andy gave him a great ride. I would like to thank Edward O'Grady for letting me use his gallop and get the last piece of work into him as my gallop was frozen.

Powerstation won on heavy ground before and got through it again today. Hurdling is a little easier on him than chasing and we may stay over the smaller obstacles next.
