Curragh Tue, 22nd Oct, 2024  Whirl I'm delighted with them, they ran very well,. Ryan's filly(Giselle) was a bit babyish and a bit green. He was trying to teach her, which was the right thing to do. He was delighted with her. He said she wasn't there yet, he said she got there and got a little bit tired with him. She had a big hold up. I ran her because I thought we'd get Ryan over because I needed him to sit on her again. The experience will do her good for next year. Wayne's filly(Whirl) has more experience, she got out there and is tough and found plenty. Ronan(Whelan on Island Hopping) was very happy with his filly who came home very well. He said she'll be a group filly next year and she'd get a mile-and-a-quarter easy. Wayne gave the winner a lovely ride. He went his pace and he was left alone in front. It's amazing with those Wootton Bassett's, one after another they are coming. They just get better the more you train them.

Curragh Sat, 28th Sep, 2024  Apples And Bananas He's a very tough horse. It was a good aggressive ride from Dylan and he stayed on to the line well,. I'm delighted with him, he's as tough as nails. He's obviously better at a mile but it's a great pot to win and fair play to Goffs.  . It's a fantastic incentive for people to buy horses next week and we'll hopefully be going back to try and find one for next year. . He had stakes form, went and led all the way and he's a good horse. . He's a horse that should go ten furlongs next year, he has a bit of stamina in his pedigree as it's an Aga Khan family. . We'll have a look at one of those Saint-Cloud races and he's in the Futurity Trophy as well, which we'll have a look at too. I'd say he might run in one of those races before we pull up for the year. . I'm delighted to win a good pot and delighted how our other ones ran as well. 

Curragh Sat, 31st Aug, 2024  Ides Of March He was professional and grew up a lot from the last day,. I'm delighted and we'll look at the Middle Park with him now. He's a powerful, fast horse and he finds it easy to go quick. He's big and he's strong. He was going very easy through the race before Ryan started to let him go. I think he's versatile (ground-wise). Wootton Bassetts handle soft ground as well and he handles fast ground very easy, he's a very good mover. The mare was a very good mare in America (Grade 1 winner).

Leopardstown Thu, 22nd Aug, 2024  Chantez That was nice. I loved her first run here as they quickened twice and I said that was a bit above the ordinary as a maiden. I was tempted to go to the Curragh the last day but Red Letter's form was there so we bypassed that and came back here, to the track she had handled, with a view to the Ingabelle Stakes. That is a race that has been very lucky for us. She did exactly what we thought she'd do. She shouldn't be running as she's so light and immature. She's just so not there yet. It's like Dublin buses. We had a load of horses last year and now, all of a sudden, every filly I have is a nice filly. We're just lucky and it's great. She's good and any other year she'd be your best one. I love having a second bite at a maiden. You get disappointed not winning for a minute but then you walk away and say 'lovely, another maiden, and I don't have to go to a stakes race'. Now she's had two runs and I have an Ingabelle horse, so happy days.

Galway Mon, 29th Jul, 2024  Rock Of Cashel He was just very babyish the first day and in fairness he's come forward from it. He's still quite babyish but he's going to be a lovely horse in time, he's still putting it all together. We might look at something like the Futurity for him, some of those nice races. Wayne was very happy with him and he thought he'd come forward nicely from the last day. There is still plenty more to come. We'll step him up into group company and see where he fits in with the rest of them.

Leopardstown Thu, 25th Jul, 2024  Green Impact It’s great to get that, he’s a lovely horse. He’s the first horse that (owner) Marc Chan has ever bred, so he’s very excited. He’s a very laid-back horse, a big horse, and he’s probably a little bit on the weak side still. We’ll give him a bit of time and we probably won’t be going anywhere in a hurry. There are plenty of mile races in the autumn. He’s got some entries. We’ll see how he comes out of this and go from there. Whatever he does now, he’s going to get better.
