Thurles Thu, 21st Nov, 2024  Turbo I was hoping and thought he'd run well but thought the distance - especially around here, might be short for him. He got his ground today as he never really got ground like that. He had a little fracture in a hind leg which held him up for a while but is lightly raced so we brought him back. We'll see how he comes out of this but there's a race for him in Fairyhouse soon. We have a few horses coming along for the track at home.

Gowran Park Sat, 9th Nov, 2024  Noble Talent When we saw the entries, we said we'd run if Danny was happy to ride him. Danny rang me the other day and walked the track and said he'd like to ride him. I have to thank him for this. JJ (Slevin) and Danny both said he should do well over fences. Danny walked this on Wednesday and told me the ground was lovely, in Mallow it was too quick for him. He needs three miles but we were quite happy with that. He'll handle a good bit softer than this. Jumping is a big strong point with him. He's a funny little horse, Danny pulled out wide as I don't think he likes being bullied inside in a big bunch. We had a cute man riding him. Have you ever seen a jockey to keep improving so much? He's brilliant. He works for small trainers really well because he puts a lot into it. JJ was suggesting to me that we should be looking at the Tim Duggan, he said that after Sligo. Danny said the same, that we should be looking at a decent handicap. He was thinking we could go out to three or three-and-a-half miles with him. He's in good order and fences seem to be improving him. He's something to look forward to.

Limerick Sat, 19th Oct, 2024  Iamagetaway He is a smashing horse and his work at home had been very good so I would have been disappointed if he didn't collect. He had been keeping good company in his bumpers and while we were a little disappointed coming home out of Wexford and had our tail between our legs, that form has worked out well,. We were clutching at straws by putting on a tongue-tie as there is no issue in that regard but it won't be coming off the next day. I'd say 2m4f is his trip and we'll pick and chose where we go, so hopefully he can win again.

Tramore Wed, 18th Sep, 2024  Dee's Getaway she is well-bred and the step-up in trip to 2m5f suited her. She is only four, is a grand filly and we won't be in any great rush with her. We were hoping she'd run well, she handled the ground well and is a nice mover. Her owner David L'Estrange is a great supporter of ours.

Wexford Sat, 13th Jul, 2024  Getaway Henry That's my first winner and I only have one horse. I have the licence about five or six years, and we were due a winner. My father and uncle always had race horses at home, we are farmers though and this is kind of a hobby. We are based in Tullylease on the Cork, Limerick border near Kanturk. He had been working well at home and we were hopeful today. The ground in Listowel the last day was too soft for him. He is family owned and my sister Christina bred him.
