Cork Sun, 8th Dec, 2024  One Big Boum The owners are from Carrigtwohill and Midleton and we had a long wait with him as he has had his problems. He ran here this time last year when he cracked a bone in his knee and had an operation so it was a slow process to come back. He went a bit right the last day at Wexford and went left today and he seems to idle when in front. Overall he has a bit to learn and isn't the finished article yet.

Navan Sat, 7th Dec, 2024  Flicker Of Hope Aidan was brilliant on him. He knows him well. Fine margins and it is a great pot to win. A young horse and he is a chaser in the making. Where we go next, we don't know. He probably won't go at Christmas time, we will try and see what is after Christmas for him. If there is something there at the Dublin Racing Festival, we will go there. He had the lightest weight in the race and is an improving horse. The bob of the head worked for us. I've won a couple of Grade 3 races and Listed races, but pot-wise this is the biggest pot I have won.

Navan Sat, 7th Dec, 2024  Magic Boum That was a bit of a surprise. I thought she would run a nice race there and maybe go back for a bumper but, with the favourite falling, the race was there. She was very green in front, but in fairness she was tough after the mistake at the last. That was a bonus, and we’ll probably look for some black type with her over hurdles. I’d say she’s more of a chaser for next year — she’s a big girl.

Listowel Sat, 28th Sep, 2024  Kingdom Calling this has got me out of a big hole and a few locals backed him. This week only three of our runners hadn't finished in the first six so that was good, although for us, it is the one week where that isn't enough. It is all about winners here so I'll take this. I'm delighted as he had been making a fool out of me last year and is a lovely horse going forward and I think he will improve. We thought he was a bumper horse last year but he was running too keen and was petering out at the back-end of his races. The last day in Tramore, Philip Enright got him to relax, to breathe and do everything right but he thought mentally he was still childish. Richie (Deegan) got him to settle early on in today's race, crept into it although the race fell apart in front of him.
