McCreery's Texas Moon another winner for Dawn Approach
He ran well here the first day. You always like to advance but sometimes it doesn't work that way,. He broke very well out of the stalls and Billy got across well into a nice position. The fresh ground is the place to be here. I had a walk with Billy and we thought that was the only place to be. He got there and dictated. He quickened up well but idled a bit then in the last 100 yards. He's owned by myself and Dave Hyland who has been a good client of mine for a good while. I'm delighted for him and his wife Sarah. We'll take baby steps with him, he's still raw and I didn't run him purposely as he's still maturing into himself. He's from a very good family as his dam is a half-sister to a champion in America.
Murphy has high hopes for Agrimony
It was a very good performance. We had a race in Navan in mind for him in ten days time but this popped up on the ground, it was probably a bit short for him,. Gary said he took a little blow at the furlong pole but he said his class got him through. The plan would be the Gallinule and then maybe the Derby, we think he is that calibre. He's a dream horse to have and makes life worth living for.
Emphatic Listed victory for Mighty Blue
It was a good performance. She's a good tough filly. She's been on the go all year, she ran well at Cheltenham (third in the mares' novice hurdle) and ran a nice race at Cork where the ground was probably a bit quick for her. Dylan said she travelled away, got a lovely lead, and the further she went the better she won. She has plenty of size to her and she's still a novice next year over hurdles, which is amazing really when you think of it. She jumped okay at Cheltenham, it wouldn't have been great, but she stayed on well there. That was a good performance from her. She's never really had a break between last season and the jumping season but she looks well in herself. I think the ground is the key to her, she loves soft ground. I'd say Joseph will give her a holiday when she needs it but she's not showing any signs of it at the moment, definitely not today anyway.
No need To Panic now as Listed win secured by Stack's filly

Well-supported Black Cat Bobby gets it done
We're delighted with that. He ran well in a barrier trial as a two-year-old but things didn't really go his way afterwards, he ran into a few nice ones. We got him gelded (in January) and he was a bit flat when he came back in but in the last couple of weeks he's really come to himself. We were delighted with him coming here and he goes in that ground which was a help to him. Seven or a mile is fine for him. He's a lovely horse, a lovely ride and an easy sort.
Crystal Pool 'bobs' at the right time to touch off favourite
It's a long time coming but we've had a lot of faith in this one, believe it or not. She's run some terrible races but more often than not we've found a reason for it. She ran good races in Dundalk but she's not quick enough for the mile there and wouldn't have the temperament to go further. We liked the idea of a low draw today, the plan was to make the running but she just doesn't come out quick enough. Still where she was is as close as she's been after three or four furlongs in a race. The jockey did a terrific job, I was really impressed, and he said she was a willing partner. Full credit to him as I thought we were going to come out the wrong side of it. The other horse looked like it was going so much better but she battled well for him and just got there in time. I'm delighted as she was bred by my late father-in-law (Tom Brennan) and it means a lot. He runs in Joan's colours and they are his old colours so we are delighted.
