An enquiry was held to consider why Nicky Richards, was running Imada (IRE) here at Bangor on going described as Good, having declared the gelding a non-runner at Perth on 21 July 2020 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer stated that in his opinion, the ground at Perth had been quicker than described.
Having walked the track at Bangor on this occasion, they felt that it was genuine Good ground and would be suitable for Imada (IRE) to take his chance.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Padleyourowncanoe (GB), placed fourth, was found to have a wound to the inner cannon on its left-hind.
