O'Brien edges two ahead in Jockeys' Championship
she's a lovely filly, a little bit green and probably needed the last run fitness wise more than some of ours but she stepped up nicely and I like her. I'd have rather gone seven or even a mile with her. This maiden came up on a bit of nice ground, at a decent track, so it suited her well and it's nice to see her being able to do it over six. Her mother was obviously famously a bit quirky and War Fronts can sometimes be a little bit the same. She's keeping it under wraps at the minute so hopefully we can keep her like that.
Landline scores for Cleary & Lee
I have only four riding out at the moment so for two of them to win isn't too bad. He had a good run over five here last time. The last day we weren't sure what he'd be like on the quick ground, as both of his wins before this were on heavy. He came out of it well the last day and his legs were cool and everything so we said we'd give him a chance over the six and it worked well for him. Billy gave him a great ride as well and timed it very well. I suppose we were kind of confident but we still had the fear of the ground coming here today but luckily enough it worked out. While we have this weather we might get another one into him. I had him entered for five again tomorrow but I wouldn't chance that. Whatever comes first (five or six) we'll probably go for. He will improve from that again. He has improved a lot in a week and I'd expect he will improve again.
Ballydoyle complete Naas double in featured Oaks Trial
she's been running at Listed and Group 3 level and running okay. Today worked out well as I was able to go down through them. She doesn't do a whole pile when she gets there so going down through them was a big help. She's genuine and tough.
Sheila's Hope completes hat-trick for McConnell & Madden
she's obviously progressing. She's a very straight-forward filly, bowls along and picks up and it looks like she'd stay a mile-and-a-half on that. I don't know what the plans are now. The owner (Peter Commane) and I sit down and then I do what I'm told!. It's great and she's really going the right way. We'll see what the handicapper does, he's probably going to have his way now. You never know with these fillies that keep going the right way. She doesn't owe us anything now anyway and just has the winning habit and knows how to run. That's a good thing to have and not every horse has that.
Third-time lucky for Weld's Mayaadeen
he got a nice ride from Leigh Roche. He rode him with confidence, that's what I said to him - 'go out and give him a ride with confidence' and that's what he did. He's progressive and we'll probably go for a handicap with him next. We're not in any hurry, we'll take it in stages and see how he comes on. He's gone and done his job today.

Unconsidered newcomer leads home 1-2 for Aga Khan in Naas finale
she's a nice filly, a typical Aga Khan filly and Niall McCullagh has been riding her work at home. She was ready to start and we thought we'd get her out and get her going. She hasn't been on grass or anything so it was a good performance and she's a lovely relaxed filly. It was ideal with a nice small field and you'd like the way she picked up there and she had a nice blow so you'd imagine there is plenty more to come from her. It was set up lovely, she got a lovely round around but unfortunately the saddle slipped on our other filly (Viviante) and there was only the two in front of her to aim at. It was like a bit of work really the way it worked out for her so it didn't call on her to do a whole lot, because of her greenness she didn't have much to do but to follow two.
