we'll aim Archie Boy at the Kerry National at the end of the summer and while the handicapped might put him up for today's win, I don't think he should do as he was entitled to win today. The Midlands National at Kilbeggan is another target and while he could end up having top weight, his class could see him through. The ground today was grand although I thought it would be too slow.

Russell completes Dazzling double

normally Dazzling Susie is very free but in front today she was lazy if anything. Davy popped a few hurdles on her recently and she was very good and while I was worried about the ground, it was grand out there. She'll have a break now and will run in those mares novice hurdles during the winter.

Great Value for early shoppers

its nice to win with him at last . he ran well in a very good winners' race here during the Festival and hopefully he'll pick up a winners' race now. He goes on good ground and looks a chaser in the making.

its great Sublimity came back safe and sound and he has done very well for us through the years . we'd love to find another one or two like him!

O'Grady and McNamara on the mark

that's my first winner for Kitty Lord's owner Donal Boylan who Phoenix Rose was touched off for us in a mares hurdles on Sunday. He's just about to get on a plane from Hong Kong but at least the horse made it home before him! He'll have one more hurdle run before going chasing.
