We have very big plans with her. She is in at Naas on Monday (in the Listed Coomore Stud EBF Fillies Stakes) as well as Sunday's winner Teolane. She also has the option of going to Royal Ascot. Her dam, Easy Now is a half-sister to Easy Goer (a champion racehorse in America). She has the pedigree and always showed plenty. Kevin said she was very fast and that she'd have no problem stepping up to six furlongs.

Ice-cool Doyle wins another on Geraldines

He (Doyle) had to force his way out a bit. He did well as she missed the kick. The filly is improving and I'm delighted with her. There is nothing for her for a month now so she'll get a break. There isn't much in the spring for fillies in Ireland.

He won here last year (also beat Mrs Batt that night with Roche aboard too) doing the same thing. The owners (Mrs Patricia Cunningham) are neighbours and my mother owns half of him too. He's a horse that's had a lot of problems with chips in his knee and problems with a stifle. He's been at home with his owners for more time than I've had him. He's a bit of a pet really. What he wants is to go left-handed on a level track. He'd run at the Curragh but it's hard to get a race for him there off his rating.

We had to run him again as the handicapper didn't do him any favours (went up 14Ibs for his Ballinrobe win). I don't know what else he'll be able to do on the flat but we might take him to Ascot for the two and a half mile race (the Ascot Stakes Handicap). It would be a bit of craic for the owners (the Bodhran Makers Syndicate). He could go hurdling but he's a little small horse and he wouldn't carry a lot of weight.
