Queen one to follow after Killarney romp
She was entitled to win after the last day, when she ran very well and was third, and there was a big swing with Joseph's horse (Eos). I felt she'd improve again with the step up in trip and she is very genuine and the further she will go the better she will be,.
It's easy for well-backed Legal Spin at Killarney
Classic hero Wicklow Brave lands Killarney amateur race
he broke quite slow and he is a bit like he always is and has a little look around but I couldn't pull him up afterwards and myself and Derek (O'Connor, on third-placed Ivanovich Gorbatov) actually did another lap of the track and couldn't pull him up. That should get his confidence back and it looked like a good opportunity and he will probably have his sights raised after that. He could go to Galway or Goodwood but I don't think
No stopping Murphy's Waltz at Killarney
. He needs a good trip and we'll look for somewhere without firm in it and see what the handicapper does with him. . Today was Daniel's first time riding for us and he was third in the first race and gave that horse a lovely ride so we can't complain.
Khaleesi provides Neville with 'badly wanted winner'
that was lovely and she went around again! She is a very consistent mare and I can't say she was running bad as she had been running well but was just getting caught. I knew in the past week that she was seriously well and those are her conditions. She was unlucky not to win a few days and it's great to win today as it was a big pot of money and to win in Killarney, we love it!
Bargy Lady brings up Mullins treble
Kilbarry Way sends favourite backers home happy
She ran very well in Wexford and we were expecting a nice run but with Willie (Mullins) and Joseph (O'Brien) in the race it's not easy,. After her first run at Galway she got a kick in the paddock at home and was off for six months. . We could go for a winners of one bumper now or go hurdling so we'll see. She is a big enough mare and would probably want a cut in the ground.
