Joseph beats Aidan in two-year-old maiden
He has plenty of speed. He's quite green and was green through the race,.
Slattery runners in tip-top shape
I fancied him. He was 14/1 last night and I told a few lads to have a few quid on him,. He was second to Swish here as a two-year-old and was giving her weight then. He didn't stay seven furlongs at Naas the last day and like all mine he has taken a run. It was hard to know what kind of race it was, it looked a good race on paper. He's tough and he kind of has to be off the bridle, if he gets too much time to think about it he doesn't do it. He's a five or six furlong horse. There is a €50,000 three-year-old race at the Curragh and that will be his next run. He has won in soft ground at the Curragh over six so ground is not an issue to him.

Boats impresses in the claimer
We left him very very fresh for today. Thankfully I'm training for a gentleman and he allowed me to get him beat today if I had gotten it wrong,. further . I warned him that I had changed the training and he was probably coming here 15 kilo heavier than when he last won. Because he was thriving I didn't want to interfere with his training. It worked out and maybe I'm figuring him out a little bit more and there is more improvement in him. I can't wait to get him on the turf as I think he might be a bit better with a bit of juice in the ground.

More O'Brien joy in fillies maiden
She did it well. We went a nice gallop and she kept going, she stays well,. The blinkers sharpened her up a bit as she's a bit laid back at home.
64/1 Dundalk treble for Aidan O'Brien
He was a little bit behind the bridle the whole way but when he got a bit of light and I got a few smacks into him he picked up well,. He's never going to be a world-beater but he'll win what he wins in his grade.
