today's track suited Hanginthebalance much more than Galway the last day as he ‘fell' down the hill. He is a lovely, big and long striding horse and we will either go for something similar next or leave him off until next season.
Separate Ways completes odd double
I'm delighted for Separate Ways' owners (Long Tipp Syndicate) as today at least they can enjoy their winner on the day! The Galway Stewards had a difficult decision to make on the day but thank god the Appeal Stewards made the right decision, I think. Separate Ways has improved a good bit and we'll aim him at the Cambridgeshire next.
Aladdins Cave wins again
Galway didn't work out for Aladdins Cave but he bounced back today. We'll aim him at a Premier Handicap at The Curragh next before he goes back hurdling . soft ground isn't an issue with him either.
Foxland wins Hurry Harriet Stakes
I have my license four years and have about 12 horses. Duchess Of Foxland is the star of the show and showed her class today, when we stepped her up in trip for the first time. I've no immediate plans but hopefully she will stay in training next year.
Heskin Excels at Gowran
Syann completes Marnane/O'Donoghue double
Syann did that well and will definitely get further. She is a lovely mover, likes that ground and showed a good attitude. We'll see what handicap mark she gets now.
