It couldn't go any better for Peace
He's a fine big fellow. He has a lot of speed. We'd be thinking of Ascot and if we could get another run into him it would be a help,. We could look at the Marble Hill or the Rochestown for him.

She's a five time winner around here now so it's great,. She's been unlucky on the turf and Chris was upset with the ride he gave her in Leopardstown. He wanted another go on her. She lost all winter as she was a very very sick mare. She spent three weeks in the UCD Veterinary College. I have them to thank that I have a horse at all. I thought we were going to lose her. She lost half her face with a sinus infection and had a really nasty time of it. I couldn't be more pleased as she's obviously my stable star. I can't get another one like her — I keep trying and can't do it!. Chris reckons we should try her back on the turf. She's had no winter because of the sickness so hopefully she can carry on now for the summer. She had a three-timer here last year. I don't know if she'll do that again but we'll give it a go.
Smoulder lands important win
Jon Ess wins with a little help from above
We've been up here all winter so it's lovely to come on a nice evening!. He's a straight forward horse and hasn't ever run a bad race. Handicapping is his job. He was probably unlucky the first night. We thought he'd run well but we hadn't him fully wound up and he just got touched off by a short head. He has deserved it. He tries every time and pops out great. He's just a straight forward simple type of horse. Pat liked him and he thought another furlong wouldn't be any harm to him. He's named after a great friend of mine, John Shortt, so that's made it all the sweeter. I think he was giving me a hand today — I needed it. We'll look for another handicap and see what the handicapper does. He's going to be a great fun horse for a great bunch of lads. It's a syndicate that's been very supportive of me so I'm thrilled. I've only had one winner here before, Daytime Dreamer, about six years ago. Hopefully we can come for a few more.
